The Bakery at HCC

The Bakery at HCC is the newest venture from the team behind The Bakery Chase Park, and it might be the only place in the area where you can demolish a breakfast bap watching the covers come off. Set inside Hammerwich Cricket Club on Burntwood Road, with plenty of outdoor seating beside the pitch, it is a proper community cafe with a proper cafe menu.

Build your own bap or sandwich from bacon, sausage, black pudding, egg, hash browns, mushrooms, beans and tomatoes, on white or brown bread, toasted if you like. Beyond the baps there are stacks of fluffy American-style pancakes with toppings from Nutella and Biscoff to lemon and sugar, three-egg omelettes with your choice of fillings, eggs on thick-cut toast, breakfast wraps, and the Breakfast Burger: beef burger, cheese, bacon, egg and hash brown on a toasted bap. Vegetarian options run right through the menu, from veggie sausages to the Veggie Breakfast Wrap. Orders are placed at the kitchen.
