What is a CIC, anyway?
A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a type of business set up to benefit a community rather than line shareholders’ pockets. They’re a brilliant route for people who want to do good and run something sustainable, but setting one up properly, and keeping it healthy, takes know-how. That’s where The Build Room comes in.
How Lee can help
Lee brings more than three decades of professional experience, including director-level work in governance, compliance and operations, plus ten years spent building a Community Interest Company from the ground up. He’s been there, made the decisions and learned what works. Support covers four simple stages:

Monthly memberships start at £79 and give you regular access to advice, funding bulletins and a one-to-one sounding board, an extra pair of hands without the cost of employing one.
